Mind-Blowing Stories That Restore Our Faith in Humanity

When bad things happen to us, especially when we’re young and especially when it seems to involve more powerful people and forces than we know how to deal with, it’s easy to just throw up our hands and give up. I think that for a lot of us, if we saw our family’s lands being taken when we were just small children, we would just figure there was nothing we could do about it.

But not this guy, who saw this happen to his family when he was six years old, eventually became a lawyer and got their land back 23 years later- long after most of us would have given up. If we’re honest, most of us don’t have this kind of resilience and motivation, but it’s nice to know what some people are capable of.
