I know a lot of people who are terrified of spiders and will be very upset if they see one of these spiders in their houses. For my part, though, I’d be much more upset if I saw an ant. Spiders are usually solitary; if you see a spider, you’ve only seen a spider. But if you see an ant in your house, it may be a sign that your walls are filled with a giant colony.

Here is more evidence to back up that idea. The amount of ants that currently will exist on this earth is mindbogglingly, breathtakingly high. We’re lucky that they haven’t decided to rise up against us! But to be fair, they’re really tiny, so we would like to see them try.
