There is no denying that thrifting has had a comeback in recent years… When we were kids, going thrifting was not something anyone considered cool. But now, with the ‘vintage’ revival of our hand-me-downs, people have given the idea of second-hand shopping a facelift. And you know what they say: one man’s trash is another man’s treasure… But with these interesting thrift finds, we struggle to see how anyone ever considered these things to be of value. We fear these weird thrift store finds are doing more harm than good for the revival of thrift shopping…
#1: A Disappointment to Your Parents
No matter what, there will always be lingering disappointment when it comes to being someone’s child. Even if you were the best child in the world, who did nothing but listen and respect your parents, navigating this sensitive relationship is hard for everyone.
And as this rather fitting sign states, you can only do so much to decrease your parents’ feelings of shame… So, instead of holding all of these horrible feelings inside, why not just let your parents be the ones to deal with them? Since they are probably going to anyway.
